Another Remedy for Deception:

Taking Eternal Perspectives One Month at a Time

Deception is a serious matter, but God has provided a remedy through His Word, His truth, and the finished work of Christ. Scripture reminds us that all people—believers and non-believers alike—can be influenced by the world, the flesh, and the enemy. From the beginning, sin entered through human choice, bringing brokenness into our relationship with a holy and loving God.

Yet God’s desire has always been restoration. Though sin separates us from Him, Christ alone is the remedy. Through His death, resurrection, and promised return, we are invited to remember, confess, repent, and draw near.

This devotional offers 12 monthly themes to help prepare our hearts for communion. Each reflection is seasonal, Scripture-centered, and designed to help us remember what Christ has done. The meditation section invites deeper reflection, while the prayer portion encourages personal time with God.

Communion holds great meaning for every believer. In a world filled with deception, it helps sharpen our spiritual sight, renew our hearts, and remind us of the truth: Christ paid the penalty for our sins, He is risen, He lives within us, and He is coming again.

May we come to the Lord’s table with humble hearts, open eyes, and grateful remembrance
