Multi-session learning for deeper growth, confidence, and lasting impact called Operation: BE KIND.
What is Operation BE KIND? There is a spiritual war of suicide ideation that is destroying the lives of many in our churches and our community. In the military, the definition of Operation often pertains to a highly organized activity working together to meet specialized goals. This spiritual warfare is across our nation, in our state, city, county, community and homes. There is a battlefield in our home front to fight a spiritual warfare.
Operation BE KIND is a call to arms, but of a different kind—a call to become crisis interventionists, equipped with God’s kindness. An incredible leader of World War II General Patton’s was quoted to say, “You must acquire the warrior’s soul.” He also said, “There are three ways that men get what they want: by planning, by working, and by praying. Any great military operation takes careful planning or thinking. Then you must have a well-trained troop to carry it out: that’s working. But between the plan and the operation, there is always an unknown. That unknown can spell defeat or victory, success, or failure. It is the reaction of the actors to the ordeal when it actually comes. Some people call that getting the breaks; I call it God. God has His part or margin in everything, that’s where prayer comes in.

Think3-2-1 a crisis intervention using the The BE KIND Model. This 3 hour session uses the cultural axiom of kindness that can be used at any level of crisis; however the workshop’s main address is suicide ideation. If we can reduce suicide ideation, we can decrease the number of suicides a year. When addressing how to deescalate someone in a place of despondency, you discover how to deescalate someone at any level of stress.
