Introductory sessions that inspire awareness and introduce key concepts.


    • This is a 30-minute introduction to the importance of prevention, intervention, and post-vention. In an effort to bring mental wellness, the most important component of this presentation is to recognize levels of safety with a person in crisis.

    • This is a 1-hour session on the introduction of The BE KIND Model.  Kindness is a spiritual awareness that can lead someone to safety. Every letter of the BE KIND prompts dialogue techniques when listening to a person in crisis.

    • Think 3-2-1 crisis intervention strategy consists of Think 3 Charlies, 2 Mnemonics, and 1 Solution.  A right connection (3Cs) will bring hope and a dance dialogue (2 Mnemonics) may lead to a “rooster crow” moment, a wakeup call.

    • As you develop a plan, Think 1 solution to empower rather than overwhelm the person in crisis.  When there is genuine kindness, kindness creates a climate that fosters resiliency, recovery, and referral.

    • When the person in crisis recognize hope, then comes help and healing. When the person in crisis recognize hope, then comes help and healing. Think 3-2-1 and The BE KIND Model are tools to increase dialogue confidence and competence in deescalating a person in crises.

    • The core of the 3-hour workshop sets the foundation of knowledge; however, refresher courses are necessary for practice.

    • A crisis is deeply personal and layered with other life sorrows. The gospel is sacred and each gospel encounter is a holy moment. Life is not without its troubles but a spiritual perspective into our eternal security is important. 

    • Not everyone is religious but everyone has a spiritual side of life to discover purpose and mission. 1.5 hour session
